Ray-Ban Aviator Sunglasses Turn 75 Years Old

Released in 1937 the Ray-Ban Aviator has worn the test of time and had a massive resurgence of popularity in the last few years with big celebrity names wearing the Aviators such as Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Sharon Stone, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Anniston, Kate Moss, Jonny Depp to name a few!

The new range is called 'The Ambermatic Capsule Collection' of aviators, with the campaign slogan “Legends Never Hide”. Ray-Ban have redesigned two of it's iconic Aviators; the Shooter and the Outdoorsman. These new designs have curved temple tips and feature a photo-chromatic yellow lenses, that becomes darker as the light brightens that also depends on an increase of the temperature. This is a technology that Ray-Ban pioneered in way back in 1978.

With only 18,000 pairs produced worldwide, you'd better be fast to hit the internet to search online for these classics to keep pace with the Celeb's that will surely be seen this summer in a pair of these iconic aviators.
