2013 could be a very interesting year for sunglasses with brands ranging from Arnette to Jason Wu conjuring up some unexpected twists.  Manufacturers have really went out of their way to create some innovative and clever looks that should have people talking, and maybe even talking a little more than normal!

Big and Futuristic Options

This year some of the biggest sunglass manufacturers have added a twist to the usual and time tested favorites like Wayfarer.  Large frames and frames with a decided futuristic edge have made the cut and are now available.  Fashion icons, such as Prada, Versace and Fendi, have some really big and bold designs this year that feature lots of interesting angles and vivid colors.  Clearly, it is going to be a pretty innovative year for the industry and it could mark a real turning point.

Mirrored and Cat Eye Options

If you’ve read my other postings you know that I am a big fan of polarized lenses as they offer a great many advantages, such as boosting clarity of vision.  I also like mirrored lenses a lot and the good news is that they could become quite popular this year.  We've even added a blue mirrored lens that our customers were asking about. Check it out on our Lens Selection page. And if you are a cat lover, then this is your year!  Large cat eye shaped polarized sunglasses from  manufacturers like Jason Wu and Rachel Roy are quite exciting!

This year is all about everything “big” and “interesting.”  But that doesn’t mean that you have to pay big bucks if you damage your sunglasses, as that is never “interesting.”  Instead we can send you new lenses anywhere in the world for a fraction of the cost.  You’ll save time and money!  So no matter whether you damage an old pair of Mui Mui Prada sunglases or fancy Jason Wu shades, we have you covered.
