A friend of mine recommended me to fix my sunglasses through «Sunglass Fix ». Living in Canada, I was thinking that Australia was kind of far to have them repair with them. So I started to read their reviw and see the great comments. So I went for the experience. First, all instructions were clear and TRUE. Espacialy for international shipping procedure. Then, I got a feed back when they received my package and an other one, 3 days after that my sunglasses were on their way back. As they arrive home well, they were just perfect!

I had a pair of Raybans that I love

I had a pair of Raybans that I love, but the lens fell out, I tried to glue it, made a mess. Enter Sunglass Fix. I ordered replacement lenses and they arrived in just a few weeks. I tried to install them but there is a funky nut/bolt thingy that kept me from using a regular screwdriver. The website said I could have them installed at any local optometrist. I tried LensCrafters, Sunglass Hut and another local optometrist but NOBODY had the right size “socket” to get the old lenses out. I wrote Sunglass Fix and asked what to do now and they said I could send my Raybans to them and they would install the lenses. I sent them back (I’m in the US and they are in Australia, so by now I’ve spent $45 for the lenses, waited 3 weeks for them to arrive, drove around looking for someone else to install, and shipped them back for an additional $27. I’m COMMITTED now!) I wait about 6 weeks and no word so I call Sunglass Fix to see if my sunglasses arrived. Not yet, but they got my receipt from the USPS and tracked them down for me. Another 2 weeks and they arrived in Australia. I get the call that they don’t have the specialty fastener either and now I’m thinking these sunglasses are a money suck. But the lady I worked with (I’m sorry, I can’t remember your name) said they can get the lenses to work somehow but it won’t be the same fastener that came on them. Screws will be silver instead of black. At this point I just need it to end! So I told her to do what they can with the sunglasses and I’ll set my expectations low. WOW!!! Was I ever impressed with the finished product! The tech had to dig out the superglue I added, and make up another way to install the lenses. I got them back two days ago and THEY LOOK FANTASTIC! The company did everything right! I give them 4 stars because it took so long to get shipments to and from Australia, but that is on the USPS. My only suggestion is if you have to ship back and forth to them, don’t be in a hurry. Otherwise, I’m super pleased with the workmanship, lenses, service, all of it!

Luxury for less than $50

I had a favorite pair of expensive sunglasses that would’ve cost me hundreds of dollars to replace, and were no longer under warranty to exchange. It’s amazing that I got them fixed for less than $50 (including shipping from US). Of course it took some time, because of shipping delays etc, but what’s a few weeks when I can use my sunglasses for many more months? They are perfect! Thank you

Excellent communication with the shop. Awesome people, shipping was as fast as expected from Australia to Europe. :D. Unfortunately the lenses (which by the way were matching 100% the description) did not fit exactly on my glasses due to some particularities of my glasses (lens size was perfectly correct, lens curve was not) and although they sent me a second pair for trial without any further costs, they instantly refunded my money when the second one did not fit either. Overall a very pleasurable experience, and I would not hesitate to order again from them, except not for this particular pair of glasses.

the quality of the lenses are on par with the originals, my problem was that they were not entirely identical in size wise. the left one was a notch bigger then the right one so while screwing them i left a gap so that i don't break the lens, while the right one i could have screaved perfectly. it doesnt bother me and i didnt want to return the product for these reason since the lenses are made of very good quality.

Saved me loads of money

I bought a pair of Maui Jim sunglasses online which, after a few month's use, I realised were far too dark. So I was delighted to find that I could get a lens swap from Sunglasses Fix for a fraction of the cost of a whole new pair. These gradient lenses are so much nicer and - an unforeseen bonus - they are good for driving, being non-polaroid (the instruments are easier to read, especially the head-up display in my BMW which doesn't work at all with polaroids).

I have no complaints about the quality or fit of the lenses. A mirror finish on the lenses and they would be perfect. They are noticeable as replacements. At about a third of the cost of the originals they are also good value. They were delivered on time and trackable.
