When Sunglass Fix started, over a decade ago, we simply wanted to provide the best lenses to everyone, wherever you may live. We have worked hard to do exactly that; and now ship globally to over 150 countries. We couldn't be more proud of the recognition we received from the Premier of NSW. We are honoured to be named 2022 APAC Sustainable Business of the year. In a world of globalizaton, it's hard to find things still made of local quality. Sunglass Fix was awarded the Australia Made APAC award for its continued manufacturing of sunglass replacement lenses in Australia, and environmentally sound business practices.
In 2019, we were nominated as finalists in the UK Design Week Award for our beautifully designed packaging. Featuring all the eco-friendly credentials you could wish for, the packaging is constructed using 100% recyled materials, and it's biodegradable too! Corrugated cardboard adds strength, while pre-used bubble wrap cushions your brand-new lenses on their journey from our lab to your door.
When Sunglass Fix started, over 17 years ago, it was just the founder Craig, building lens coating machines, colouring and cutting lenses in his shed. We have come a long way since then and now produce over 400,000 lens models in a highly automated process recognized for it's innovation through the Premier's Advance Materials and Manufacturing Award.
Core to the business idea behind Sunglass Fix is reducing our impact on the planet. We ensure that sustainability is bulit into everything we do. From reduced electricity consumption to recycled rain water. You'll see our packaging is 100% recyclable or biodegradable and every pair of lenses we make keeps a pair of sunglasses from becoming waste.

Since 2006, From our hi-tech workshop near Byron Bay, we have quietly dedicated ourselves to educate and inspire our cutomers to revive their favourite sunglasses. We're obviously doing something right and it's great to get the recognition.
