Good but polarised lenses are blurry and banding visuals on my OPPO phone
Fits well and looks good but for detailed reading (like my phone screen on my car dashboard when navigating) I am finding it harder to read smaller details. Edit (for my reply to Sunglass Fix): Thank you for your reply Lana. Your comments about the interaction of polarised lenses and LCD screens got me curious so I tested this further. Indeed, the polarised lens replacements from Sunglass Fix (same for both pairs as I actually refurbished 2 Ray Bans sunglasses) have a fairly strong pattern of light and dark bands across my phone screen. So, I also checked with 2 pairs of wife's sunglasses (Tiffany = banding and Tom Ford = no banding) and my son's sunglasses (Ray Bans = no banding). So we tried using my wife's iphone and ALL sunglasses did not have this unpleasant effect. So it seems some manufacturer's polarisation system interacts poorly with my phone (OPPO A5, also tested on my previous OPPO A96 with same result). I am wondering if the SFx Diamond BIO polarisation would not have these visual problems, in which case I would be willing to purchase that upgrade. Otherwise, I would like to accept the offer of an exchange for non-polarised lenses. Edit2: Updating to say that the Sunglass Fix Customer Care Team has been great trying to address my concerns. They recommended downgrading to non-polarised lenses for my situation and offered a refund of the price difference for both pairs I had purchased. I chose to only swap 1 pair which I use for driving and need to use my phone for navigation (other pair are for outdoors and gardening when screen use is not critical). It happened fast, communication great and they included envelope to return the original pair. The new non-polarised lenses give me a clear view of my phone screen and there is no more banding and bluriness.
