Sunglass Fix saved my discontinued Maui Jim Ka'anapali

I'm so bummed Maui Jim no longer supports my favorite sunglasses (ka'anapali). I have a few frames and bought the tools to change the lenses myself, and went out on a limb and bought a pair of green lenses from Sunglass Fix. I'm in US, they are in Australia so I understood it would take a couple weeks to get them. I'm so impressed at the optical quality that I'm giddy. I will order more and more. They got here in about a week which was awesome. I hope they will continue to make lenses for me. I also have a few pair of cool old 1980's fashion sunglasses that I'm going to send them to make custom lenses. This place is the real deal and they fill a niche that needed filling. I'm all in.

Brilliant service & my Ray-Ban sunglasses are repaired and can barely tell the difference. Cannot recommend enough. Emailed them beforehand to check on colour/shade of lenses as sometimes not immediately obvious which ones you need and they get back to you within a day or so.

First I opted for the cheapest transport method, and when the lenses didn't arrive, SF immediately sent a second set by DHL without charge. When they arrived, I found that I had mistakenly ordered the wrong size. Again SF responded immediately by sending a replacement pair, again without charge. Lenses are OK, but they somehow don't look exactly like the RayBans originals. The shape is absolutely identical, but when mounted on the frame they sit ever so slighly differently, I think the holes are slightly off. It's VERY subtle though and you wouldn't know it if you're not very familiar with how the glasses used to look.

Installation was pretty easy, however, it took a bit of force to get them in. So...if you have thick rims like mine, you may have the same experience. Don’t let it scare you, though, my lenses are in and my rims are intact.
