Yellow lenses perform best in low light conditions where fast moving, sharp, site performance is required. Yellow does change color perceptions, which makes it inappropriate for situations that require color accuracy. They are commonly used in biking and other sport activities played in low to mid light conditions, popular on the worlds cycling circuits. They work well in sports played under night lighting. In some countries they are used as night driving lenses to help block out bright city and oncoming headlights.
They are also great for the work shop and yard work where you need to be able to see in lower light conditions but also are in the sun. It provides enough glare protection to take the edge off but also allows you to keep the glasses on while looking for thinks in the garage or working in the shade.
