For nearly two decades, we’ve helped hundreds of thousands of customers across 170+ countries extend the life of their favorite sunglasses. While international shipping can take a little longer, we guarantee the quality is worth the wait—and we stand behind every delivery. Please double-check your address details to help avoid any delays.
The U.S. has suspended the de minimis exemption, which previously allowed goods valued under USD 800 to enter duty-free. From August 29 onward, all shipments to the U.S.—regardless of value or origin—will be subject to import duties and tariffs.
Canadian Orders:
Due to localised postal strikes in Canada, delivery times may be slightly extended. Please allow up to an additional week on top of our usual shipping estimates.
From 1 April, 2024, Sunglass Fix collect tax (VAT) at checkout for all orders to the EU and UK to avoid shipping delays due to unpaid tax. It is highly recommended that you use a tracked shipping option to avoid delays due to customs procedures.
Some EU customs departments may charge VAT and a collection fee upon delivery—even if VAT was already paid on our website. These cases are rare and result from technical inconsistencies within country-specific customs systems.
If this occurs, we kindly ask that you pay the VAT and collection fee, then email your payment receipt to info@thesunglassfix.com.au. We will promptly refund you in full and initiate a claim for the VAT paid during checkout.
Customs, import or duty fees
Some countries, including member states of the European Union, may impose fees or duties on imported goods, separate from Value Added Tax (VAT). Sunglass Fix does not impose any import duties or fees, nor do we have prior knowledge of these charges for individual countries or shipments. It is the customer's responsibility to pay any additional fees required by local authorities.
Australian customers can expect their lenses in 2-5 business days on the east coast. Rural Areas and Western Australia should receive them in 1-2 weeks. Express deliveries should arrive in 2-4 business days and is tracked. Sunglass Fix is not in an express post overnight area. Regardless, Express Post still arrives fast and is a good service for Regional areas and Western Australia customers that need lenses quickly.
We use DHL ecommerce and SEKO global for almost all our international shipments.
DHL and SEKO will typically take all packages directly to your country's postal system for final delivery. We heavily subsidize shipping cost and offer faster shipments with tracking at a very discounted rate so please consider using them if you want your product faster and tracking is important to you.
