I was looking to upgrade the lenses in my Oakley Holbrook sunglasses and wanted to try a photochromic option, but I really did not want to pay $500 for something custom made through an optometrist. After doing some research, Sunglass Fix looked like they had exactly what I was after. I went with their brown photochromic lenses, which also have an anti reflective and I believe oleophobic coating. Since they are nylon lenses, they are perfect for what I wanted: a variable condition sunglass lens for the golf course. The photochromic effect works really well and the lenses darken pretty quickly when exposed to sunlight. I actually think these will also be great for driving on cloudy days, since they are polarized and cut through glare without being too dark on overcast days. The customer service from this company was also top notch. I had an extremely minor issue with the lenses they sent me. They were still perfectly usable, but I am nitpicky as heck when it comes to lenses. After I sent a couple of photos, their customer service team dispatched a brand new pair the very next day. My only small critiques would be that I would love to see more shipping options for impatient international customers like myself, and it would be great if they offered some flashed mirror options in their top tier lenses. Other than that, I have no doubt I will be using Sunglass Fix again soon.
