- The Sunglass Fix

Footy fans, have you got your sunglasses ready to watch the NAB Cup

AFL fans will be starting to rouse themselves from the long, hot summer in anticipation of what is to come. Although you may be saying it’s not the real thing, the footy pre-season is upon us and we eagerly count down the weeks till the AFL season begins.

There are plenty of games to watch as the AFL spreads itself around the smaller towns and cities of Australia and you’ll need your sunglasses on to view all the action.

This weekend you can catch Melbourne vs Geelong in Alice Springs, GWS Giants vs St Kilda in Wagga Wagga and Gold Coast Suns vs Collingwood on the Gold Coast. Alice Springs is going to be hot and although you may get a little rain in Wagga Wagga and the Gold Coast, you really shouldn’t leave home without your sunnies!

Regardless of the weather forecast, sunglasses protect your eyes in all types of conditions. Polarized lenses are great for outdoors and at eliminating glare. For overcast conditions you might want to try Light Brown or Amber color lenses which are great all-around choices for enhancing vision and reducing glare in low-light conditions. You could also try Brown which is great at filtering out diffused light.

Regardless of the style and color of sunglasses lenses you decide to wear, just be sure you’ve got your teams colors on as you get out in support of them this weekend!
