Send in your sunglasses
Send your sunglasses to our Byron Bay workshop using your preferred tracked postal or courier service. We'll email clear step-by-step instructions once your order is confirmed.
Installation & return delivery
Our optical technicians will professionally install your new lenses, tighten the hinges and give your frames a general service. We'll notify you when your sunglasses are on their way back, with tracking.
Before a lens is cut, our equipment maps the exact geometry of your frame, capturing every curve, angle, and edge specific to your model. That data drives the entire cutting process, so the finished lens fits your frame precisely.
Every lens is individually cut using optical-grade machinery to match the trace data from your specific frame. There are no generic molds or batch runs. Every pair is made to order.
Sunglass Fix lenses are made from optical polyamide, a material that combines optical clarity with impact resistance, durability and UV protection.

Our lenses are designed to perform as well as, if not better than, your original pair. If you are not satisfied with your custom-made lenses, you can return them within 6 months of delivery under our no-questions-asked return policy.
Our polarized lenses use a Japanese polarization film rated at 99.9% efficacy to reduce glare from roads, water and car windows. They are fitted directly into your existing frames as part of our custom lens service.
Every pair of custom replacement lenses keeps another set of frames out of landfill and cuts plastic waste. From award‑winning, recycled packaging to bio‑based lens materials, we’re built to save sunglasses with a lighter footprint.
We can fit lenses into about 90% of sunglasses. Unfortunately there are a few exceptions, we’ll let you know if your sunglasses are not eligible for our custom service.
We can’t make custom lenses for large single shield/goggle frames, or very old and fragile frames.
